Enrolled Nurse – Rural Hospital

About the role

Scone Hospital is looking for motivated Enrolled Nurses to join a supportive rural team. You will work in a mixed medical and surgical environment, providing safe, high‑quality patient care across a variety of clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Registered Nurses and multidisciplinary staff to deliver patient‑centred care.
• Manage a patient load appropriate to your scope of practice within ward settings.
• Perform clinical duties such as medication administration, wound care, and patient monitoring.
• Report to the on‑duty RN, Nurse Unit Manager or After‑Hours Nurse Manager.
• Adapt to work across other departments or nearby facilities as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of clinical nursing experience.
• Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Strong commitment to patient‑centred care and ongoing professional development.
• Willingness to develop advanced venepuncture and cannulation competencies.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational abilities.

• Hourly rate $36.73 – $39.91 plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging.
