Employment Consultant – Support Clients to Sustainable Jobs

About the role

Asuria, a leading provider of employment services in Australia, is seeking an Employment Consultant to empower individuals with disabilities, injuries or health conditions to secure and maintain meaningful work. Based in our Mascot office, you will guide participants toward their employment goals while collaborating with local employers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored guidance, coaching, job placement and ongoing support to a caseload of participants.
• Identify and develop new employment opportunities with local employers that align with participants’ goals.
• Understand each client’s unique employment needs and create individualized plans.
• Collaborate with employers to bridge gaps between talent and opportunity.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to supporting clients into sustainable employment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, case management within employment services or related fields.
• Strong problem‑solving, goal‑setting and organisational skills.
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check; ability to set up a myGovID.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, database systems).
