About the role
The Emergency Department SRMO provides direct clinical care within Albury Wodonga Health’s Emergency Departments, a major regional trauma and referral centre. This full‑time position offers weekly education and a solid foundation for doctors aiming for specialty training in Emergency Medicine or General Practice.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, investigate and manage Emergency Department patients under appropriate supervision.
- Deliver high‑quality medical care and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.
- Engage in clinical governance activities within the department.
- Access weekly educational sessions to enhance clinical skills.
Required profile
- Medical graduate seeking experience in Emergency Medicine before specialty training.
- Willingness to work in a regional trauma centre and contribute to team‑based care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
