Early Childhood Educator – Kurri Kurri

About the role

Eden Academy is seeking passionate early childhood educators to join its 105‑place centre in Kurri Kuri. You will work in a safe, nurturing environment from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm, supporting children’s growth through play‑based learning and strong family connections.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging, curiosity‑driving learning environments that reflect the centre’s natural play spaces and open‑plan rooms.
• Deliver playful, developmentally appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Build trusting relationships with families, communicating daily observations and progress.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a child‑safe, inclusive setting and uphold centre policies.
• Model kindness, creativity, and a positive attitude for both children and colleagues.

Required profile

• Diploma, Certificate III or working towards Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or an ACECQA‑recognised equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check and full Australian work rights.
• Warm, professional presence with a genuine passion for early learning.
• Two professional references, one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting.

Required skills

• First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR, and Asthma certifications (funded by the centre).
