Design Engineer / Drafter – Water Infrastructure

About the role

Join Interflow’s dynamic team as a Design Engineer/Drafter, creating practical and cost‑effective solutions for water main renewal projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will work from concept through to construction issue drawings and as‑built documentation, ensuring safety, constructability and environmental considerations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design solutions for water main projects using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Produce construction‑issue drawings and as‑constructed documentation.
• Identify optimal construction methodologies and apply the latest technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and operational teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree (civil, mechanical or similar) desirable but not essential.
• Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Construction industry experience, ideally in water infrastructure.
• Strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills, with willingness to engage clients when required.
