Demand Planning Manager – Consumer Goods

About the role

Join Saputo as a Demand Planning Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, reporting to the Head of S&OP. You will lead the demand planning function for consumer goods, driving forecast accuracy and supporting senior commercial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing demand planning team of four direct reports.
• Maintain a 24‑month rolling forecast in SAP, covering baseline and promotions.
• Own the monthly demand review with the Retail Sales Director and the weekly S&OE process.
• Drive forecast accuracy improvements through root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Manage product lifecycle activities, including NPD forecasting and deletions.
• Conduct scenario planning for tenders, stretch and long‑range planning to guide capacity decisions.

Required profile

• Extensive demand planning experience in FMCG, with a track record of building or uplifting planning frameworks.
• Proven leadership experience developing planning teams.
• Strong ability to challenge the status quo and introduce new ways of working.
• Tertiary qualification in business, engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• SAP (highly desirable) and other ERP/forecasting systems.
• Advanced forecasting, inventory and S&OP process knowledge.
• Excellent facilitation, communication and structured problem‑solving skills.
