Corporate Tax Consultant

About the role

EY is looking for experienced Consultants to join its Corporate Tax team in Tarndanya, Adelaide. The role works across a range of corporate clients, including leading ASX listed companies and large multinational inbound investors, on multiple projects and clients, both independently and as part of a team that collaborates with the global tax network. Mentoring is provided by experienced practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver taxation services for an allocated book of corporate clients, including corporate income tax compliance and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
• Support corporate taxation advisory services such as ATO risk reviews, audits and ruling application processes.
• Act as a client point of contact and collaborate with specialist teams on international tax, transfer pricing, tax controversy and transactions.
• Supervise junior team members including consultants and graduates.

Required profile

• Australian corporate income tax experience, ideally from a top-tier or mid-tier accounting firm or corporate business experience.
• Client-facing skills and the confidence to contribute to client meetings and build a network.
• Ability to turn complex technical information into clear, well-informed recommendations.
• Ideally: proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements, attention to detail, a record of training and delegating to juniors, and CA qualifications or equivalent.
