Claims Consultant (Temporary, 3 Months)

About the role

A well-established insurer is recruiting an experienced Claims Consultant for a temporary assignment of 3 months in Adelaide, advertised by Mayday Recruitment. The role suits someone who can hit the ground running, manage a busy portfolio and deliver high-quality service to customers throughout the claims process. It starts immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage claims from notification through to resolution
• Assess claim information and determine appropriate outcomes
• Liaise with customers, brokers, assessors, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Coordinate assessments, repairs and other claim requirements
• Maintain accurate claim records and documentation
• Manage customer enquiries and give regular updates
• Ensure claims are processed efficiently and in line with policies and procedures

Required profile

• Previous claims processing experience (essential)
• Experience managing claims in an insurance environment
• Property claims experience highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise competing claims
