Corporate Tax Advisor

About the role

ESV is seeking a Corporate Tax Advisor to join its growing corporate and international tax team. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base ranging from start‑ups to listed entities and high‑net‑worth families, providing strategic tax advice and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide corporate and international tax consulting, including reviewing tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
• Prepare detailed memorandums of advice and support tax controversy matters.
• Review client accounts and tax returns, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and ASIC requirements.
• Manage compliance obligations such as payroll tax, land tax, fringe benefit tax, and stamp duty.
• Liaise with clients on management accounts, respond to enquiries, and contribute to project work.
• Conduct technical research and participate in internal training and committees.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in a professional accounting practice.
• Ability to manage large and complex client groups.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated, capable of working autonomously.
• CA or part‑CA qualified.
