Construction Supervisor – Site Operations

About the role

DDR Australia is looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead safe and efficient delivery of remediation, concrete repair, water infrastructure and pump station projects across South Australia. Based in Adelaide, you will oversee site operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects meet high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site crews and subcontractors to deliver works safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate daily site activities, labour, plant and materials.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements through inspections, pre‑starts and toolbox talks.
• Monitor progress, resolve site issues and maintain project schedules.
• Complete site documentation and reporting requirements.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Trade qualification or construction background with experience supervising construction, remediation or civil projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead site teams and subcontractors in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, work planning and project programming.
• Experience delivering water infrastructure projects is highly regarded.
• Current Driver's Licence and White Card.

Required skills

• Welding trade background or practical welding experience.
• Sound knowledge of HSEQ systems, safe work practices and quality requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
