Construction Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to provide national leadership and technical oversight for major remedial, structural and refurbishment projects across Australia. The role is flexible on location, with regular travel to project sites as required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction, project and site teams across all states, driving operational consistency and continuous improvement.
• Oversee national performance metrics, cost control, risk management and project governance.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to required technical and quality standards.
• Review methodologies, staging, temporary works and engineering solutions for complex projects.
• Mentor Construction Managers, Project Managers and emerging leaders, supporting workforce planning and capability uplift.
• Develop and maintain relationships with national clients, engineers and delivery partners, representing the business at senior stakeholder forums.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑leadership experience in remedial, structural, civil or complex refurbishment construction.
• Strong technical understanding of remedial engineering, concrete repair, structural strengthening, façade upgrades, coatings, marine works or industrial remediation.
• Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed construction teams.
• Commercial acumen with knowledge of contracts, claims and project governance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client‑relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel interstate regularly.
