Construction Manager

About the role

Multiplex is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a large‑scale hospital project in Queensland. Reporting to the Project Director, you will own end‑to‑end construction delivery, ensuring buildability, programme discipline, quality, safety and commercial outcomes are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical and operational delivery of a Queensland Hospital mega‑project.
• Drive buildability, programme management, risk mitigation, quality and safety performance.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships with Queensland Health, subcontractors, unions, consultants and regulators.
• Develop and mentor Project Managers and site leaders, building the next generation of Multiplex talent.
• Maintain commercial discipline in a competitive subcontractor market.

Required profile

• 15+ years of construction experience, including senior roles such as Senior Project Manager, Project Director or Construction Manager on large, complex Australian projects.
• Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and foster a high‑performance, values‑driven culture.
• Deep expertise in commercial, institutional, health or mixed‑use builds.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
