Concrete Plant Supervisor

About the role

Heidelberg Materials Australia is looking for an experienced Concrete Plant Supervisor to lead the daily operations of its Port Lincoln Concrete Plant. The role focuses on safe, efficient production of high‑quality concrete while managing a team of operators.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of concrete production, including batching, mixing, and loading.
• Ensure quality control of raw materials and finished products through regular testing and inspections.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Lead, train and mentor plant operators and support staff to achieve high performance.
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics to guarantee timely delivery to customer sites.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs and maintenance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of concrete batching plant equipment, processes and quality control procedures.
• Relevant tickets and qualifications such as White Card, FEL or forklift licence are desirable.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability and quick decision‑making skills.
• Strong safety mindset with experience enforcing WHS protocols.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
