Concrete Plant Supervisor

About the role

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an experienced Concrete Plant Supervisor to lead daily operations at the Wallaroo Concrete Plant. The role focuses on safe, efficient production of high‑quality concrete while managing a team of operators.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of concrete production, including batching, mixing and loading.
• Ensure quality control of raw materials and finished concrete through regular testing and inspections.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Lead, train and mentor plant operators and support staff to achieve high performance.
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics to guarantee timely delivery to customer sites.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs and maintenance reports.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in concrete plant operations or a supervisory role.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and quick decision‑making skills.
• Safety‑focused mindset with experience enforcing WHS protocols.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of concrete batching plant equipment and processes.
• Understanding of quality control procedures for concrete production.
• Relevant tickets and qualifications such as White Card, FEL or forklift licence (desirable).
