Clinical Trial Coordinator

About the role

The Clinical Trial Coordinator will manage day‑to‑day operations of one or more Multiple Sclerosis clinical trials at Griffith’s Clinical Trial Unit on the Gold Coast campus, ensuring high‑quality participant experience and research integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate trial conduct at the Griffith site, including participant enrolment and ongoing management.
• Perform in‑person participant reviews and assessments such as ECGs, phlebotomy, and cognitive tests.
• Liaise with neurologists, pharmacy, and hospital staff to schedule study assessments.
• Maintain accurate trial records, process and verify data to ensure integrity.
• Ensure compliance with ICH‑GCP, TGA and Australian Clinical Trials regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Nursing or a health‑related field.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating clinical trials.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in Multiple Sclerosis research is desirable but not essential.
