Clinical Science Liaison

About the role

The Clinical Science Liaison will act as the scientific bridge between clinical evidence and real‑world practice, supporting the commercial launch of an innovative cancer diagnostic product across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Support customer adoption and utilisation of diagnostic technologies through scientific engagement and education.
• Partner with commercial leadership to identify market development opportunities and strategic stakeholder engagement.
• Translate emerging clinical evidence into compelling scientific narratives that demonstrate clinical utility.
• Represent the company at conferences, industry events, customer meetings and professional forums.
• Develop market‑facing scientific content, educational resources and evidence‑based engagement strategies.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Specialist, Field Applications Scientist or similar field‑based role.
• Experience in molecular diagnostics, IVD, proteomics, NGS, oncology, pathology or related healthcare sectors.
• Strong scientific literacy with ability to interpret complex clinical data and convey practical value.
• Proven ability to engage and influence healthcare professionals, pathologists, laboratory personnel and key opinion leaders.
• Understanding of the Australian healthcare system, diagnostic testing pathways and pathology environment.
• Commercially minded, self‑motivated and comfortable operating in a hybrid scientific‑commercial role.
