Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

About the role

I-MED Radiology Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality nursing support and recovery services for interventional radiology procedures in the North‑West region of Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Assist radiologists with interventional procedures, obtaining informed consent, assessing medical history, monitoring baseline observations and recovering patients post‑procedure.
• Perform procedures such as biopsies, lumbar punctures, drainages and pain‑management injections.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, technical and administrative staff and managers.

Required profile

• Full AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 2‑3 years of acute nursing experience, preferably in radiology, surgical or procedural settings.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, time‑management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including potential weekend and on‑call duties.
