About the role

CareScan Medical Imaging is seeking a full‑time (or part‑time) on‑site Radiographer to deliver high‑quality diagnostic imaging services across Western Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for X‑ray, CT and other imaging examinations.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, following radiation protection protocols.
• Acquire accurate images and maintain detailed records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referrers to support timely reporting.
• Provide clear explanations to patients and uphold infection‑control and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and professional development.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of radiologic technology, diagnostic imaging principles and modality‑specific techniques.
• Expertise in radiation safety and management, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Understanding of anatomy, pathology and clinical indications for imaging studies.
• Degree or diploma in Medical Imaging/Radiography and current registration with AHPRA or equivalent.
• Excellent patient communication, attention to detail and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Experience with multiple imaging modalities (X‑ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc.).
• Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training and work weekend or after‑hours rosters.
