Clinical Coordinator

About the role

Take the lead on the clinical side of a busy Gladstone practice. This hands‑on role blends clinical knowledge with organisation, leadership and day‑to‑day coordination, working closely with the Practice Manager and Lead Dentist.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operations and support the clinical team.
• Oversee infection control processes and maintain clinical standards.
• Manage clinical stock, materials and inventory.
• Maintain records for incoming and outgoing laboratory work.
• Coordinate storage and archiving of dental models.
• Complete and monitor daily clinical checklists.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical processes and workflow.
• Support the Practice Manager and Lead Dentist with clinical training and development.
• Provide guidance and support to the wider clinical team.
• Provide Dental Assisting support when required.

Required profile

• Previous dental experience is essential.
• Experience in a senior Dental Assisting, Clinical Coordinator or similar role is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of infection control and clinical standards.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence managing stock, records and clinical processes.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence supporting and guiding others.
