Clinic Nurse (Registered Nurse)

About the role

The Registered Nurse will join the ATSICHS Brisbane primary health clinic, providing culturally safe care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You will work closely with clinicians and health workers to ensure efficient client assessment, follow‑up and continuity of care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing practice within an Aboriginal primary health care model.
• Collaborate with the clinic team to maintain care plans, client follow‑up and recalls.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organisations, hospitals and other stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring compliance with AGPAL accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher.
• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in primary health care.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and meet performance targets.

Required skills

• Knowledge of culturally safe practices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Experience with MMEx software (preferred).
