Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Trials (Grade 3)

About the role

You will work as an experienced Pharmacy Technician within a clinical trials pharmacy environment, supporting pharmacists with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical trial support, including trial documentation, stock management, dispensing, monitoring and billing.
• Dispense prescriptions and inpatient medicines for pharmacist checking.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of trial pharmaceuticals, consumables and stationery.
• Undertake aseptic preparation for cytotoxic, biohazard and sterile clinical trial materials.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) or equivalent.
• Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (essential) and preferably clinical trials experience.
• Advanced computer knowledge and strong written and verbal English communication.
• Valid Australian work visa and willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check.
