Civil Engineer

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute across the full project lifecycle on transport infrastructure projects in North Queensland. You will work on highway upgrades, bridges, flood mitigation and local council road improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical design work for pavements, drainage, traffic and broader civil infrastructure.
• Support project delivery through coordination, technical input and oversight of design packages for TMR and local government projects.
• Work on a diverse portfolio including highway upgrades, bridges, flood mitigation and local road and footpath improvements.

Required profile

• 1–5 years post‑graduate experience in civil or transport infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with transport, roads or civil infrastructure projects, preferably with exposure to TMR standards.
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset, able to work within multidisciplinary teams.
