Civil / Earthworks Supervisor

About the role

The Civil/Earthworks Supervisor will lead the direct‑hire scope of works for the Eva Copper Process Plant in Cloncurry, Queensland. Working on a FIFO 2:1 roster, you will ensure construction activities meet project safety, quality, and schedule requirements while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance of direct‑hire crews and subcontractors against drawings, specifications, standards, and ES&H plans.
• Coordinate installation contractors, track project status, manage schedules, control costs, and handle change management processes.
• Liaise with contractors, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders on earthworks and foundation activities.
• Review look‑ahead schedules, commodity and resource charts, engineering deliverables, and material delivery plans to keep work fronts continuously available.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising civil construction and earthworks on large‑scale mining or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of ES&H regulations, quality standards, and national safety codes.
• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with schedule and cost control, change management, and construction documentation.
