Christmas Casual Optical Assistant

About the role

Bailey Nelson is seeking enthusiastic Christmas Casual Optical Assistants to join the Burleigh Heads store for the busy holiday period. You will help customers with their eyecare journey and ensure a memorable store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through frame selection, styling advice and vision solutions.
• Assist with optical needs, ensuring a warm and engaging visit.
• Maintain high energy in a fast‑paced retail environment and uphold operational standards.
• Collaborate with fellow assistants, store leaders and optometrists to keep peak trading running smoothly.

Required profile

• Full availability from early November 2026 to end of January 2027, including weekends and extra shifts.
• Previous customer‑service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar fast‑paced setting.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Reliable time‑management and ability to work well in a team.
