About the role

Join Bailey Nelson as a Christmas Casual Optical Assistant for the busy holiday period. You will help customers with eyewear selection and support the store’s peak trading activities.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through their eyecare journey, offering styling advice and frame recommendations.
• Assist with optical requirements, ensuring a warm and engaging experience.
• Maintain high energy and positivity in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Collaborate with fellow assistants, store leaders and optometrists to keep operations smooth.

Required profile

• Full availability from early November to end of January, including weekends and extra shifts.
• Previous customer‑service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar fast‑paced setting.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and a can‑do mindset.
• Strong time‑management, reliability and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player who builds good rapport with colleagues and optometrists.
