Chemist – Quality Control Laboratory

About the role

Viatris is seeking a Chemist to join its Quality Control laboratory in Ipswich. The role involves conducting routine and complex analytical testing on raw materials, in‑process products, finished doses and stability samples while adhering to Good Laboratory Practice.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simple and complex laboratory testing of pharmaceutical products.
• Write laboratory investigations and reports.
• Ensure analytical testing follows sound scientific principles and SOPs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality department.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, legal and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Science with chemistry units.
• Understanding of GMP requirements.
• Ability to read and follow detailed procedures and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgement.
