Casual Registered Nurse – Flexible On‑Call Shifts

About the role
This casual, on‑call position is designed for registered nurses who are currently employed in a hospital and want to pick up additional shifts. You will conduct one‑off assessments in the community, providing comprehensive nursing care to participants across Sydney.
Key responsibilities
- Perform continence and wound‑care assessments on a per‑call basis.
- Deliver nasogastric tube, tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding‑machine care as required.
- Manage medication administration, suctioning, and other clinical procedures.
- Provide coordinated nursing services within general practice and community settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality participant outcomes.
Required profile
- Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing.
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in community or aged‑care settings.
- Ability to work flexibly and reliably on an on‑call basis.
- Willingness to obtain or hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Valid NSW driver’s licence (driving is ideal).
