Capital and Civil Project Manager

About the role

Randstad is partnering with a local council located 1.5 to 2 hours from Melbourne for an initial 3-month assignment as a Project Manager for capital and civil works. You will manage capital works across civil infrastructure, open spaces and community assets, delivering projects on time, within budget and to council standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of capital works projects across civil infrastructure, open spaces, buildings and other assets.
• Perform contract administration and manage contractors and consultants.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, risks and governance requirements.
• Ensure procurement, safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Experience delivering capital works projects.
• Contract administration and contractor management experience.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture; local government experience preferred.
• Current Victorian driver's licence.
• Available for work and able to provide a CV in Word format.

Required skills

• Strong PM framework knowledge and MS Project proficiency.
• PM/PRINCE2 or PMBOK certification.
