About the role

HammondCare is looking for a volunteer to create a cozy café experience for residents at its residential care facility in Erina. You will help set up a warm, welcoming café-style space with cups, saucers and simple treats, making coffee with an easy pod machine and offering light refreshments while chatting gently with residents who enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

Set up a café-style space with cups, saucers and simple treats
Make coffee using the easy pod machine and offer light refreshments
Chat gently with residents in a relaxed, social setting
Help create moments of connection, comfort and community

Required profile

Age 18 or older
NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
Commitment of one hour per week for a minimum of 6 months; a suitable weekday (Monday to Friday) can be agreed
