Business Services Accountant / Senior Accountant

About the role

Join Grant Thornton’s growing Private Enterprise (Business Services) team in Perth as an Associate or Senior Associate. This hands‑on accounting role offers a blend of remote work and collaborative team‑connection days, supporting a diverse client base across various entity structures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for SMEs to large companies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as part of an effective service delivery team.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to wider firm initiatives.

Required profile

• Interest in taxation and a practical, caring approach to client service.
• Relevant qualification (Business/Commerce, Accounting or Finance) and progress towards a CA qualification.
• At least 18 months of professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills and strong organisational ability.

Required skills

• Experience with Xero accounting software (highly regarded).
