Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

The Senior Tax Accountant will report to the Australian Tax Manager and help design and implement Epiroc’s tax function as the business expands across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate tax compliance obligations.
• Prepare, review and coordinate tax effect accounting and reporting obligations.
• Research and provide ad‑hoc or project‑based tax advice, liaising with external advisors.
• Support M&A tax due diligence, post‑acquisition compliance, reporting and integration activities.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of tax policies and processes.
• Understand and follow Epiroc OH&S policies and perform any SHEQ duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, law or related discipline.
• CA, CPA, CTA or equivalent qualification, or substantial progress toward completion.
• Relevant experience in a corporate tax function or professional services firm.
