Business Development Manager – New Business Focus

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive profitable new‑business growth across Western Australia for Multi‑Color Corporation (MCC). This is a hunting role focused on building a pipeline, recapturing lost customers and expanding MCC’s production utilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities to meet sales, revenue and margin targets.
• Develop and execute a disciplined territory plan with clear target markets and activity measures.
• Generate leads through outbound sales, networking, referrals, industry events and strategic partnerships.
• Recapture lapsed customers where commercially appropriate and explore new customer segments.
• Lead negotiations, address barriers and close deals on profitable terms.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in Salesforce or other CRM systems.

Required profile

• Proven success in new‑business development, preferably within manufacturing, packaging, labels or FMCG.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to drive revenue growth and maximise margins.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and resilient with a results‑focused approach.
• Valid Australian work rights and driver’s licence with willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
