Business Development Manager – MSP Channel

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our MSP channel in Australia. Based in Brisbane with a hybrid work model (one day per week in the office), you will help our client place high‑skilled offshore tech talent from Sri Lanka with MSPs, system integrators and ISVs. The role focuses on signing new partners and expanding existing relationships over a 12‑month horizon.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and sign net‑new MSP, SI and ISV partners across Australia.
• Lead discovery conversations with founders, CEOs and technical leaders.
• Present business cases that highlight margin improvement, scalability and performance.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, inbound leads and events.
• Manage deals end‑to‑end from initial contact to contract signing.
• Represent the company at MSP industry events and grow your personal brand in the channel.

Required profile

• Genuine experience in the MSP channel (PSA vendors or distributors) – approximately 4 years.
• Established network within the MSP ecosystem; able to walk into events and recognise key contacts.
• Consultative, relationship‑led sales approach rather than transactional.
• BDM mindset – focused on new‑business acquisition.
• Based in Brisbane (Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast acceptable).
• Nice to have: experience selling outsourcing, offshoring or workforce solutions; familiarity with ConnectWise, Autotask or Halo PSA.
