Business Development Executive

About the role

This hands‑on, field‑based Business Development Executive role focuses on winning new business and building long‑term customer relationships across Western Australia. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be supported by an internal sales team while maintaining autonomy over your territory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities throughout Western Australia.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers such as procurement teams and operations managers.
• Conduct site visits and customer meetings to understand needs.
• Present Riggers’ work‑wear and PPE solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and onboarding.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or business development.
• Previous experience in work‑wear, PPE, or industrial supply (highly regarded).
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive, results‑driven approach with confidence dealing with procurement and operational stakeholders.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• Full, clean driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (car allowance provided).
