Business Advisor – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

The Business Advisor will manage a designated territory, ensuring optimal service to first‑line accounts and driving sales of dispensary and OTC pharmacy products. You will build strong relationships, execute business tactics, and contribute to Viatris' mission of improving health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the designated territory and provide optimum service to first‑line accounts.
• Exceed net sales targets for dispensary and OTC pharmacy products within the assigned region.
• Build and maintain loyalty with first‑line accounts through close relationship management.
• Design and execute quarterly business plans with targets, action plans, and outcomes for each account.
• Utilise business insights, analytics, and innovative deal‑level strategies to optimise substitution opportunities.
• Record and assess call outcomes in the required system and escalate issues to the Regional Business Manager when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Science or Sales.
• At least 1 year experience in Australia’s generic market and 1‑2 years in B2B complex sales environments.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizen or appropriate visa holder).
