Bilingual (French/German) Customer Service Administrator – Burnley

About the role

This position provides front‑line support for customers and assists the Export department of a long‑standing British manufacturer. The role is office‑based in Burnley and requires fluent business‑level French or German.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve issues.
• Advise customers on product suitability and recommend alternatives to competitor offerings.
• Process orders in the system and follow up as needed.
• Provide export‑related information such as lead times and delivery details.
• Support internal teams with product and stock queries.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update the system regularly.
• Monitor outstanding orders and ensure timely follow‑up.

Required profile

• Fluent in either French or German to business standard.
• Previous experience in customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Dynamic, confident and motivated.
• Comfortable using standard IT tools.
