Banking Consultant (Retail Banking)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver seamless banking experiences to customers, helping them meet their financial goals through personalised conversations, transaction support and digital education. You will work primarily in branch settings, acting as a role model and peer coach to ensure high‑quality service and strong customer advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end financial solutions, including transaction processing and needs‑based advice.
• Educate customers on digital banking channels and promote technology adoption.
• Contribute to increased customer engagement, satisfaction and advocacy.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives that drive business growth.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile and ensure compliance with ANZ policies.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Retail experience is an advantage.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work collaboratively.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
