Banking Consultant (Retail Banking)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers in the Port Lincoln branch. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, guide customers through transactions, and promote digital solutions while upholding ANZ’s customer promises.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, completing transactions and offering tailored financial solutions.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy by creating real value for clients.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives that enhance branch performance.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, branch procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a role model and peer coach, supporting team collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital banking channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Team‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of compliance standards.
