Banking Consultant – Personal Banker

About the role

The Banking Consultant role is based in a branch environment where you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, provide advice on digital solutions and help customers achieve their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer transactions and conduct needs‑based conversations to recommend appropriate products.
• Educate customers on digital banking channels and promote the use of online services.
• Act as a peer coach and role model within the team to drive high‑quality customer service.
• Support bank initiatives and programs that enhance customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain compliance with ANZ policies, branch procedures and risk‑management requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with experience in retail or banking environments.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital technology in everyday banking.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work collaboratively.
• Good understanding of compliance and risk considerations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
