Audit Partner

About the role

An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Audit Partner for its Perth office. This senior leadership position combines strong technical audit expertise with a commercial and client‑development focus.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring high‑quality, technically robust delivery.
• Act as a senior adviser to CEOs, CFOs, Boards and owners, developing long‑term relationships.
• Take responsibility for the quality, profitability and delivery of audit engagements.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing client relationships and generate new business.
• Lead business development activities such as proposals, tenders and networking.
• Collaborate with other partners to cross‑sell advisory and professional services.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to audit teams, mentoring managers and senior managers.

Required profile

• Significant experience within an Australian or international accounting firm, preferably at partner level.
• CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven track record managing sizeable or complex audit portfolios.
• Strong commercial mindset with evidence of business development and revenue generation.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing audit teams.
• Ability to engage confidently with CEOs, CFOs, Boards and business owners.

Required skills
