Audit Associate or Senior Associate – Australia

About the role

Join EY’s audit team in Australia as an Associate or Senior Associate. You will work with the data transformation team to design and implement custom audit solutions that automate and digitalise key audit stages, allowing you to focus on client interaction and advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate audit engagements, assessing audit risk and ensuring compliance with EY policies and protocols.
• Execute audit procedures with a deep understanding of the client’s operating environment.
• Collaborate with the data transformation team to develop innovative, automated audit tools.

Required profile

• Experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
• Proven ability to lead audit planning, execution and reporting.
• Strong communication, negotiation and collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS and related financial reporting matters.
• Degree or progress towards a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
