Associate/Engagement Manager – Performance Transformation

About the role

Join Oliver Wyman’s Performance Transformation team in Melbourne and help shape and implement strategies that enable clients to overcome complex challenges and drive organisational change.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day client project delivery, managing relationships and commercial processes alongside Partners.
• Oversee complex programmes to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery using Oliver Wyman best practices and technical expertise.
• Guide clients as trusted advisors, influencing decisions across strategy execution and commercial negotiations.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute thought‑leadership content across a range of topics.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting or business transformation, preferably in a top‑tier professional services firm.
• Experience in the Energy & Resources sector, especially Mining & Metals or Power, Utilities & Renewables.
• Strong commercial acumen, problem‑solving ability and judgment to deliver results.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and small‑team management skills.

Required skills

• Project management expertise with ability to balance competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation abilities.
