Associate / Senior Associate – Institutional Client Group

About the role

This position sits at the centre of fundraising, investor relations and strategic client engagement for a leading global alternative investment manager. Based in Sydney, you will support capital‑raising initiatives across private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure and impact investing, working closely with institutional investors throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of fundraising campaigns and investor outreach programmes.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with institutional investors, consultants and senior investment professionals.
• Develop high‑quality investor presentations, memoranda and other marketing materials.
• Coordinate with investment, product, legal, compliance and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of information.
• Partner with senior client coverage professionals to drive business‑development initiatives and deliver best‑in‑class service to existing and prospective investors.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in investor relations, capital formation, institutional sales, private‑markets fundraising, investment banking, asset management, wealth management or management consulting.
• Exposure to private‑equity, private‑credit, infrastructure or real‑estate investments is highly regarded.
• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
