Associate Director – Civil Engineering (Gladstone)

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an Associate Director to lead its Civil Engineering capability in Gladstone, Queensland. You will guide complex transport and community infrastructure projects while shaping the growth of the regional business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from concept to construction.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Ensure project outcomes meet quality standards, compliance and commercial objectives.
• Support strategic growth initiatives to strengthen Aurecon’s presence in Central Queensland.

Required profile

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects in consulting or engineering environments.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers.
• Strong client relationship and business development capability.
• RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) registration is essential.
• Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.
