Assistant Relationship Manager – Business Banking

About the role

As an Assistant Relationship Manager in Business Banking, you will support Relationship Managers in delivering value‑added services to agribusiness customers across regional markets. Based in Queensland, you will help manage and grow a portfolio of business clients, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with bank policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers in managing customer relationships within the assigned portfolio tier.
• Respond promptly to client queries, maintaining professional service standards.
• Maintain accurate customer documentation and files in line with Suncorp Bank policies.
• Analyse financial statements, cash‑flow forecasts and other reports to assess lending risk.
• Identify acceptable risk levels and support profit‑maximising lending decisions.
• Escalate risks and issues proactively and adhere to the bank’s complaint resolution process.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a “one‑team” approach and meet customer needs.
• Contribute to a safe and well‑being focused workplace, complying with all relevant requirements.

Required profile
