Analyst – Private Tax & Advisory (Sydney)

About the role

Join Deloitte Private’s Sydney team as an Analyst supporting high‑net‑worth families and privately owned enterprises. You will work alongside experienced managers, directors and partners to deliver tax and advisory services to some of Australia’s most iconic businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for trusts, individuals, companies and partnerships.
• Handle ATO correspondence, including Top 500 & Next 5000 private group reviews.
• Identify and advise on complex tax and accounting solutions for high‑wealth families and family offices.
• Assist on advisory engagements such as estate planning and succession planning.
• Act as liaison between directors, managers and the broader team, ensuring exceptional client service.
• Provide technical support and training to junior staff.

Required profile

• Currently completing CA qualifications.
• Prior experience at a Big 4 or mid‑tier professional services firm.
• Strong collaborative attitude, dedicated work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for working with private clients and families.
