Alpha Client Solution Engineer, AVP

About the role

The Client Solution Engineer supports the design and articulation of integrated investment servicing, technology and data solutions for institutional clients across APAC. You will lead discovery sessions, map operating models and translate complex requirements into scalable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured client discovery to capture strategy, operating model, pain points and success criteria.
• Map current-state workflows, data flows and technology dependencies, then define practical target-state operating models.
• Translate client needs into integrated front, middle and back‑office solutions covering data management, analytics, reporting and platform capabilities.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, workshops and proof‑of‑concept activities in partnership with sales, product, operations and technology teams.
• Develop solution artefacts such as workflow diagrams, scope statements, requirements, assumptions, decisions, dependencies and risks.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in institutional investment management, asset servicing, fintech or consulting.
• Practical understanding of investment lifecycle domains (order management, compliance, risk, performance, accounting, post‑trade processing, data management, reporting).
• Proven ability to analyse complex operating models and translate business requirements into functional, process, data and technology outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience creating executive‑ready materials.

Required skills

• Familiarity with investment platforms such as Charles River, Aladdin, SimCorp, FactSet or Bloomberg.
• Understanding of enterprise platforms, data architectures, integrations and implementation lifecycles.
