Product Manager - Trade Account

About the role

As Product Manager for Capricorn's flagship Trade Account, you will own the product’s performance, governance, strategic development and optimisation across its full lifecycle, supporting over 30,000 members and $4 billion in annual trade activity.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a resilient, compliant and commercially sustainable product in a changing financial services environment.
• Shape the roadmap, prioritise enhancements and lead initiatives to increase utilisation and improve member outcomes.
• Collaborate with Credit, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Data teams.
• Monitor profitability, usage, forecasts and product performance, developing business cases and investment recommendations.

Required profile

• Up to 10 years experience managing a financial product within banking, lending, payments, transaction products, insurance or broader financial services.
• Demonstrated ownership of a substantial financial product or lending portfolio of hundreds of millions of dollars in annual value.
• Strong product management capability across strategy, roadmap development, lifecycle governance and optimisation.
• Deep understanding of product governance, regulatory compliance and risk management in a regulated environment.

Required skills

• Experience working with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Audit functions.
• Commercial and analytical capability to monitor profitability and develop business cases.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross‑functional initiatives and influence prioritisation and delivery decisions.
