About the role

Join ACCIONA’s finance team in South Melbourne as an Accounts Payable Officer. This entry‑level position offers full training, allowing you to develop a solid foundation in financial operations while contributing to the company’s sustainable infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain approval for all invoices and outgoing payments in line with company policies.
• Process all accounts payable transactions in the financial system.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices while considering cash‑flow requirements.
• Process weekly staff reimbursement claims.
• Provide remittance advices for payments made.
• Maintain an organised filing system for all AP documents.
• Ensure GST is correctly applied to all payments.

Required profile

• Passion for numbers and a willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and a collaborative team attitude.

Required skills

• Experience or exposure to Accounts Payable processes (or general administration).
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
