Accountant – Hotels & Hospitality

About the role

Reporting to senior finance leadership, this full‑time position provides broad exposure to financial reporting, tax compliance, month‑end close and finance operations across multiple hotel and development entities. It is ideal for an Accountant or Assistant Accountant with experience in hospitality, property or other multi‑site environments looking for a hands‑on role.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist with GST and income tax return preparation.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with year‑end statutory reporting and audit requirements.
• Provide finance operations support across various sites.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and ad‑hoc finance tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in hotel, hospitality, property or multi‑site settings is highly regarded.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• CA/CPA qualified or currently studying towards qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
